Our role of the Production Supervisor is to supervise the production line workers. They are responsible for the routine communication of job assignments, training for specific product runs, and placement of Line Workers in assignments as required for the day.Responsibilities include but may not be limited to the following:This position will supervise in running a production line(s). The individual will be responsible for working in a safe manner and inspecting the line for any safety hazards prior and during production. The Supervisor is also responsible to ensure daily safety report cards are always in the line workers possession and being properly filled out each day and collected at the end of the shift. The Supervisor is responsible to turn in their line workers safety report cards to their supervisor at the end of the shift. The position also requires an individual to read and understand specification sheets and ensure that GMP?s are being followed. Also, responsible for producing product in an efficient manner, performing change overs, packing product and transferring the product to a new location. The individual will be responsible for running a balance of the following functions: production, machine repair/trouble shooting, and assist the Production Manager as needed. This position will involve running equipment and performing a degree of maintenance. It is important that this position possess the willingness to accept change and be proactive rather than reactive. Has authority to communicate to recommend disciplinary action for violating company rules and policies.
