Job description

Who are we hiring?

The Freelance Production Assistant will support the Logging and Ticker operations, team (Knicks, Rangers, Islanders & Devils) studio broadcasts and remote production as needed, among other general PA assignments.

What will you do?

Work as a Production Assistant/Runner during game telecasts.

Log hockey and basketball games identifying highlights.

Research statistical information and story lines.

Support the Feature Producer during remote ENG shoots and edits.

Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.  

What do you need to succeed

Extensive knowledge of sports, with an emphasis on both the NBA and NHL.

Knowledge of television production operations.

Ability to work under pressure and collaboratively within a team environment.

Availability to work weeknights, weekends, and holiday shifts.

Ability to sit for long periods at a monitor and operate control devices and software.

Proficient in MS Office programs, e.g. Excel and Word.
