Description:

Best Veterinary Solutions Inc., has an immediate opening for a full-time Production Team Member. This position works 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM Monday - Thursday in our climate-controlled Ellsworth, Iowa facility. Our production team assist with various areas within the plant while maintaining efficient production processes according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).


Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain consistent, reliable attendance and punctuality in accordance with company policy to ensure production and warehouse operations run efficiently.
  • Follow safety rules, work policies and procedures per training/instructions.
  • Stage bulk/bagged raw materials.
  • Safely operate production equipment, forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Prepare packaging (labels and lot number) with accuracy and attention to the detail.
  • Fill, weigh, seal and load bags/boxes of product onto pallets.
  • Take samples of product and record findings.
  • The ability to work scheduled shift as assigned.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
  • Communicate in an efficient and effective manner with all team members.
  • Be responsible, self-motivated, and committed to maintaining highest standards of quality.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Qualifications and Technical Skill Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous work experience in agriculture, production, or manufacturing preferred but not required
  • Able to understand and follow instructions and procedures
  • Proficient organizational skills
