Job Title: Legal Assistant, Post-Judgment
Job Summary:
The Legal Assistant Role within the Post-Judgment Legal Production team focuses on the preparation of legal documents for all states. This role involves interaction across the production team, with firm attorneys, and other B&G teams in order to effectively move all files forward toward in the legal process. This includes meeting client and internal production timelines, file maintenance and data organization, report review, and more.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work efficiently to meet production goals and deadlines while maintaining accuracy of work
  • Effectively prioritize daily tasks to balance/maintain consistent workflow across states
  • Review file level data and prepare legal documents in accordance with client and firm wide timelines
  • Escalation of internal file issues and process flow concerns within the team
  • Review of control reports to ensure the timely review and proper path for files within the legal process
  • Work alongside third party vendors to track, review, and load data and prepare files for lawsuit
  • Assist fellow team members to handle and/or manage crossover tasks that are vital to team success

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
