What You'll Do
  • Lead and manage a portfolio of cross-functional product strategy teams across technical, finance, supply chain, regulatory, and manufacturing.
  • Design and implement resilient, end-to-end supply chains for the full product lifecycle. Special focus on late stage development through the launch of new products and line extensions.
  • Translate disease area and product visions into actionable PT execution plans and strategic objectives.
  • Direct investment proposals by prioritizing product supply initiatives based on time, cost, and business value.
  • Manage product health by overseeing supply resilience, process robustness, and sustainability KPIs.
  • Integrate external customer insights and competitive landscape trends to shape lifecycle and disease area strategies.
  • Predict and articulate the implications of strategic decisions while managing holistic end-to-end risks.
  • Support long-range planning with assumption-driven forecast scenarios to connect product and network strategies.
  • Mentor and coach colleagues to expand technical skills and leadership capabilities across the organization.

Who You Are
  • BS or MS Degree in life sciences, engineering, or business disciplines.
  • At least 10+ years of multi-disciplinary work experience in the Pharma / Biotech industry, with a broad understanding of manufacturing and technical operations.
  • At least 7+ years of experience in senior people management or senior matrix team leadership.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing successful product supply chain strategies, with on-going risk management, resilience and evolution.
  • Experience in leading new product launches and/or line extensions; exposure across biologic, synthetic molecule and device supply chains beneficial
  • Demonstrated ability to understand disease areas, market access and other demand-side drivers of business value and volume; experience in the Roche strategic disease areas beneficial (i.e. cardiovascular, metabolic, respiratory, oncology, neuroscience, ophthalmology, immunology, infectious disease)
  • International/global experience (strongly preferred).
  • Ability to travel globally (approximately 10% or lower).

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location for this position of South San Francisco, CA is $197,700 - $367,100. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, level, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
