Internship Overview
The Retail Sampling Experience Intern will support a comprehensive evaluation of Springs' physical product sampling experience across retail environments. This internship will focus on understanding how product samples are used by consumers, retailers, and sales teams, and identifying opportunities to transform sampling from a basic product reference into a more effective selling and decision-support tool.
Internship Projects and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct a structured evaluation of the physical product sampling offered by Springs
  • Benchmark best-in-class sampling from competitors
  • The goal would be to turn the physical sample from a product reference into a tool (or tools) that helps close the sale
  • The swatching program will be another leverage point that wil be evaluated and leveraged to maximize consumer experience in-store
  • Will include a comprehensive evaluation of all sampling at retail and cross-reference to adjacent custom categories at retail, such as cabinets, countertops, etc.
