Profound is the marketing platform for the AI era. As people increasingly turn to ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini to decide what to buy, we give brands the intelligence to see how AI represents them and the Agents to act on it. Today, ~13% of the Fortune 500, plus companies like Ramp, Figma, Chime, Calendly, and DocuSign, use Profound to turn AI Search from a black box into a measurable growth channel.
Backed by Lightspeed, Sequoia, Kleiner Perkins, and Khosla Ventures at a $1B valuation, we're a lean, fast-moving team across NYC, SF, Buenos Aires, and London, shipping at a relentless pace and defining a new category at the biggest shift in marketing in 25 years. If you want to do the best work of your career at the frontier of AI, come build it with us.
We are hiring for Product Operations to sit at the intersection of product, engineering, and go-to-market, serving as the connective tissue between our product team and the customers, partners, and internal teams who depend on it.
You'll bring Profound's platform to life through templates, enablement, demos, and deep product expertise, helping us scale without losing the product clarity that got us here.
What you'll do
  • Lead feature-specific product ops work across all our products, owning the operational layer from launch prep through adoption tracking
  • Act as the voice of the customer inside the product org, synthesizing feedback from support, sales, and customer conversations into concrete, prioritized product input
  • Support sales enablement by educating the GTM team on product releases, building release notes, internal guides, and demo scripts that help sellers articulate value immediately
  • Own the product and engineering update for the full company, synthesizing what shipped, what's coming, and why it matters into a communication cadence that keeps every team aligned and informed
  • Work directly with Agent Engineering to create, iterate, and improve agent templates, translating product capabilities into reusable, customer-ready formats
  • Evaluate third-party partnerships, review proposals, ask sharp product questions, stress-test integrations, and surface risks or gaps before they become commitments
  • Build and maintain product documentation, launch playbooks, and internal wikis so institutional product knowledge scales beyond the heads of a few engineers
  • Track product adoption metrics and feature usage post-launch, identifying what's working, what's not, and flagging signals that should influence roadmap decisions

Who you are
  • Product-minded with a bias toward action: you see a gap between what exists and what should exist and immediately start closing it
  • Strong communicator, written and verbal, able to work with both engineering and sales teams
  • Able to operate in a fast-moving, early-stage environment with minimal direction: you're comfortable figuring out what matters and getting to work without a playbook
  • Technically fluent enough to work directly with engineers: you understand how the product is built, can read a spec, ask sharp questions, and spot when something doesn't add up
  • Customer-empathetic: you can translate what customers need into concrete product feedback, and you treat customer signal as one of the most valuable inputs in the building process
  • Highly organized with the ability to hold a lot of context at once: multiple features in flight, different stakeholder needs, different release timelines, without anything falling through the cracks

Location
This is an on-site role based in our Union Square, NYC office, designed for builders who thrive on speed, iteration, and meaningful impact.
For this role, the expected base salary range is $100,000 to $150,000, depending on experience. Profound's total compensation package includes base salary, equity, and a full range of benefits and perks. Final compensation will depend on factors such as your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and will be determined during the interview process. Our recruiting team will share more details about the full compensation package and benefits as you move through hiring.
