Job description

Product Manager

Hybrid - San Francisco | Full-time Employee | Product

RhythmScience Inc.

We believe that healthcare should be proactive, not reactive. Research shows that continuous remote monitoring can reduce hospital visits and improve patient survival rates by over 50%. Our solutions ensure that cardiac patients receive timely care, minimizing risks and enhancing quality of life.

Role Overview

The Product Manager exists to guide and shape product advancements for the Rhythm360 platform, ensuring the rapid delivery of competitive, life-saving cardiac data solutions. By taking strategic ownership of the agile product lifecycle and synthesizing market intelligence, this role bridges the gap between technical engineering capabilities, commercial teams, and highly particular customer needs. Under this structure, the role directly drives department goals to accelerate the product release cycle, integrate complex cardiology and medtech concepts, and maintain market competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end agile product lifecycle and backlog prioritization to ensure the rapid, high-quality delivery of features that matter for the Rhythm360 platform.
  • Translate complex customer requirements, technical directions, and clinical conceptsโ€”including arrhythmia data, CIEDs, and implantable/wearable devicesโ€”into detailed user stories and clear product definitions.
  • Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data alongside market trends to continuously drive software product enhancements and validate long-term roadmap directionality.
  • Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Design Leads, and cross-functional teams to estimate level of effort, define metrics, identify dependencies, and break project scopes into actionable workstreams.
  • Align commercial and operational teams by proactively communicating program statuses, managing risks, and ensuring sales and marketing are fully equipped to sell new features.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • 5+ years managing complex projects and technical software implementations within a start-up or agile development environment.
  • 7+ years of experience in product management, consulting, or entrepreneurship, with proven success building scalable project management tools and strategies.
  • Deep knowledge of relevant medical technologies, healthcare data, billing, or cardiac devices such as CIEDs, arrhythmia concepts, and implantable/wearable technologies.

Core Behavioral Competencies

  • Excellent communication and situational awareness to navigate trade-off discussions and keep cross-functional stakeholders aligned.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills to balance day-to-day execution with long-term strategic priorities.
  • Proactive risk management and high resilience when navigating ambiguity, stressful situations, and very particular customer needs.

Compensation Details:

The salary for this position is currently being benchmarked, but will include an annual salary, plus bonus, equity ownership opportunity, and benefits. In determining your salary, we will consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
