About You: 

Versana is looking for a well-rounded, customer-focused loan market expert who will be hands-on in a dynamic startup environment. As Product Manager, you will drive platform features by researching functionality and prioritizing development with our technology team. You will play an integral role in developing the strategy, roadmap, and features of our product and will have an impact on the evolution of our product. This role will work closely with senior leadership to grow Versana’s market presence.  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with Head of Product, Product Managers and Product Specialists on-overall solution suite vision and craft solution roadmap that meets company and Product Team KPIs 

  •  Define and drive successful outcomes for the solution from concept to development, through adoption 

  • Orchestrate research, requirements gathering, and design specifications for solution capabilities to solve inefficiencies in the syndicated loan market 

  • Create positioning and solution description materials, in appropriate level of detail, tailored to audiences from Executive to Practitioner 

  •  Coordinate efforts to gain necessary approvals and buy-in among key stakeholders throughout the solution lifecycle 

  •  Plan, track and report on progress of solution across all phases 

  • Support Business Analysts and Technology teams in carrying out development of the product and ensure final delivery meets requirements 

  • Manage customer feedback and requirements 

  • Provide polished product demonstrations to both internal teams and clients/prospects 

  • iCoordinate client working groups, together with Product Specialists 

  • Collaborate with sales team on solution enablement, and participate in select prospect and client sales meetings  

  • Work closely with customer support team to provide assistance by answering loan market related questions and troubleshooting issues 

Must Have: 

  • 5+ years experience in a Product Manager role, including demonstrated success driving a solution from initial creation through to launch 

  • Knowledge of syndicated lending and loan market ecosystem 

  • Experience understanding various user personas and journeys, facilitating user-centric design 

  • Independent self-starter with a results-oriented mindset 

  • Strong and clear writing ability 

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills 

  • Self-motivated attitude and ability to work in a dynamic start-up environment 

  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and effectiveness working cross functionally 

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills 

Nice to Have: 

  • Understanding of relational databases, SQL skills a plus 

  • Knowledge of process and project management
