Job Summary:The Product Leader Data is responsible for defining and executing the global go-to-market strategy, driving product line performance, and aligning the business with Belden's global vision and roadmap for data acquisition and transmission with a focus on Electronics and OEM wire and cable products. This role will focus on driving adoption, accelerating pipeline growth, business development activities, supporting commercial teams, development activities with R&D, Operational planning and portfolio management driving increased margins.
You will make a difference in the following ways:
  • Go-to-Market Leadership: Design and lead Global GTM strategies including positioning, value proposition development, pricing, and channel strategy to accelerate adoption and growth for the DAT product portfolio with a focus on Electronics and OEM
  • Conduct competitive analysis to position Belden products in the market, staying up to date with emerging technology and identify new opportunities.
  • Proactively manage the lifecycle of DAT product portfolio, apply different strategies at various stages of lifecycle, execute on product end of life and proper migration.
  • Perform financial analysis to understand health of products, create specific financial bridge and action plan to meet organic growth target, work across function on execution and drive organic growth.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders, build creditability, and direct the team effectively in complex situations.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing, diverse team of global and regional product managers with clear accountability, strategic clarity, and growth mindset.
  • Collaborate with global product line leaders, marketing, and solution line management, to prioritize strategic initiatives and deliverables for the success of the overall business strategic plan related to the product line.

What you bring:
  • Education - Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, computer science, business, or a related field; MBA preferred, or relevant experience
  • Experience - 10+ years in product management, business development or application engineering, ideally 3+ years in a leadership role, proven success launching and growing complex product lines, demonstrated ability to lead without authority across functions and regions, experience driving pricing, go to market and financial performance
  • Industry Knowledge - Deep understanding of DAT applications in industrial verticals (e.g., electronics, OEM, discrete, energy, transportation and process automation)
  • Personality - Visionary mind with sharp market insight and a bias for action, strong communicator, team builder, and influencer with high emotional intelligence, data-driven decision-maker who thrives in ambiguity and makes progress with imperfect information, high integrity, inclusive leadership style, and a strong eye for developing talent
  • Willingness to travel - Up to 25-50%, including at times international

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $150,000 - $195,000 annually, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role. This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant's experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
