Job Description:

What will you work on?
As a Product Integrity Engineer, you will lead quality, reliability, and safety compliance activities during the New Product Introduction (NPI) process. You will ensure that Spin Master toys meet or exceed worldwide safety, chemical, and performance requirements. This position also monitors product performance in the field to drive improvements and uses this data to anticipate and prevent issues on future products.
How will you create impact?

  • Serve as a core team member on new product development projects, representing Product Integrity from concept through launch.

  • Lead quality, safety, and reliability readiness activities to ensure products meet all internal, regulatory, and customer requirements.

  • Conduct product risk assessments, such as FMEA, and recommend qualification plans during early development.

  • Coordinate internal and third-party testing activities to support development milestones and production readiness.

  • Support compliance with global product safety standards (CPSC, Health Canada, EU) and maintain all required technical files.

  • Partner with Packaging teams to ensure all labeling and warning requirements are met.

  • Review customer feedback and field issues to support root cause analysis and apply learnings to future products.

  • Collaborate with global teams to communicate risks, priorities, and product readiness status.


What are your skills and experience?

  • Relevant experience in Product Integrity, Quality Engineering, Product Safety, Compliance, or a related discipline.

  • An engineering or technical education/background is preferred.

  • Experience with physical consumer products (e.g., toys, electronics, sporting goods) is an asset.

  • Knowledge of consumer product safety regulations, testing standards, and compliance processes is preferred.

  • Experience with risk assessment tools such as FMEA, root cause analysis, and CAPA.

  • Experience coordinating product testing with internal teams and third-party laboratories.

  • Six Sigma, Lean, or ASQ certification/training is considered an asset.

  • Ability to travel occasionally (less than 10%).

The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in California is $80,000 to $90,000 Per Annum. The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. Spin Master Inc. is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
