AUSTIN CAPITAL BANK

FINTECH BRAND MARKETING MANAGER

About Austin Capital Bank
Austin Capital Bank is a nationally recognized, tech-forward, and AI driven financial institution on a mission to financially empower and protect consumers and small business owners across America. We operate two high-growth divisions:
  • Branded Products - Consumer and SMB fintech brands including CreditStrong, FortKnox.Bank, and an exciting stealth product currently in development.
  • Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) - A robust platform sponsorship infrastructure supporting emerging fintech partners.
Our credentials speak for themselves:
  • 7-time consecutive Inc. 5000 honoree
  • Previous top-performing bank in the nation
  • 2026 FedFis Most Innovative Banks in America award recipient

The Opportunity
We are looking for a sharp, self-motivated, AI forward Fintech Brand Marketing Manager to own marketing strategy and execution for one or more of our Branded Products. This is not a seat-warmer role.
You will operate as a player/manager - leading with vision while rolling up your sleeves as a strong individual contributor. You will coordinate internal teams and external agency partners while driving real outcomes: brand awareness, customer acquisition, and measurable growth.
The ideal candidate bridges complex financial products with compelling, user-centric marketing - building trust and adoption for digital financial services that genuinely change people's financial lives.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Positioning
  • Define and steward the brand strategy, positioning, messaging framework, and visual identity guidelines for assigned products.
  • Translate complex fintech capabilities into clear, compelling consumer narratives that build trust and differentiation.
  • Conduct ongoing competitive analysis and market research to identify whitespace opportunities and positioning advantages.
Marketing Planning & Execution
  • Develop and execute comprehensive, multi-channel marketing plans encompassing both paid and organic channels.
  • Manage campaigns across: Paid Social, Organic Social, App Store Optimization (ASO), Search (SEO/GEO), Direct Mail (DTC), OOH, Connected TV/Streaming, UGC, Influencer, and Email.
  • Leverage data and consumer insights to continuously test, optimize, and improve campaign performance.
  • Drive efficient customer acquisition - balancing growth velocity with disciplined CAC management.
Leadership & Collaboration
  • Serve as the brand champion across cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Compliance, Customer Success, and Executive leadership.
  • Lead creative development from concept through production - writing briefs, providing feedback, and ensuring brand integrity.
  • Present strategy, results, and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Champion a culture of intellectual curiosity, accountability, and honest feedback within the marketing function.
Performance & Analytics
  • Own brand and marketing KPIs: awareness metrics, CAC, LTV, conversion rates, ROAS, share of voice, and NPS.
  • Translate performance data into clear narratives that drive strategic decisions.
  • Establish testing frameworks (A/B, multivariate) to continuously improve messaging and creative.

Qualifications
Required Experience
  • 3+ years of brand marketing experience, with at least 2 years in fintech, financial services, or a highly regulated consumer tech category.
  • Demonstrated track record of building or scaling a consumer or small business brand - from strategy through execution.
  • Fluency in digital marketing channels: paid social, search, SEO/GEO, programmatic CTV, email, and app store.
  • Proficiency with analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Looker, or similar) and paid media dashboards.
  • Experience working in lean, fast-paced environments where you own outcomes, not just activities.

Who You Are
Skills matter. But character is what makes someone exceptional at Austin Capital Bank. We're looking for someone who embodies:
  • Intellectually Curious - You study your customers, your market, and your competitors obsessively. You ask better questions than most people have answers for.
  • Genuinely Honest - You share real assessments - not just what people want to hear. You flag problems early. You own mistakes and fix them.
  • Intrinsically Motivated - You don't need external pressure to do great work. You're unsatisfied with "good enough" and you can articulate exactly why.
  • A Clear Communicator - You can write a compelling creative brief and present to executive management in the same week. Your ideas land.
  • Commercially Sharp - You understand that beautiful brand work that doesn't convert is a luxury we don't have. You think in terms of growth and ROI.
  • Collaborative but Decisive - You seek input broadly and decide clearly. You don't confuse consensus with leadership.

Why Austin Capital Bank?
  • Build brands that matter - our products help real people build credit, protect their finances, and achieve stability.
  • Own your work - high autonomy, high accountability, and a seat at the table from day one.
  • Grow fast - we're a 7x Inc. 5000 company that moves quickly, rewards performance, and promotes from within.
  • Work with great people - we hire for intelligence and integrity, and it shows in every meeting.
  • Austin-based - join a thriving team in one of the best cities in America for tech and innovation.
