Position Summary: 

MedInsight is seeking a Technical Product Manager with a platform engineering focus to join our team of engineers, designers, and product managers to build robust, scalable healthcare analytics and AI products. This role will help shape the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of shared platform capabilities that enable product and engineering teams to build, ship, and operate MedInsight solutions more efficiently, reliably, and securely.

The Technical Product Manager will serve as a bridge between platform engineering teams, application product teams, leadership and clients to ensure stakeholders remain aligned on Product vision, roadmap, priorities, and platform adoption goals. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with high attention to detail, technical fluency, and experience translating engineering needs and operational pain points into clear product requirements, measurable outcomes, and prioritized platform investments.

Primary Responsibilities:

As a Technical Product Manager, this professional will leverage their expertise in platform-oriented product management to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the shared platform capabilities throughout MedInsight’s ecosystem. They will be integral to all phases of the product development lifecycle and will work alongside Product, Platform Engineering, Data and Application Engineering, Architecture, Security, and Operations teams to strengthen the platform foundations that support scalable, reliable, and transparent product delivery.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Serving as an expert in platform-focused product management and effectively communicating impacts, priority, and the “so what” of platform investments to non-technical stakeholders
  • Defining and managing the creation and iterative delivery of cloud-native shared platform capabilities throughout each stage of the MedInsight ecosystem
  • Partnering with platform engineering teams to define product requirements for internal developer platforms, reusable services, deployment workflows, observability, reliability, security, and operational tooling
  • Identifying developer and product team pain points, translating them into platform product opportunities, and prioritizing work that improves engineering velocity, product team autonomy, system reliability, and cost-effective scale
  • Defining adoption, performance, reliability, and developer experience metrics to evaluate whether platform capabilities are delivering measurable value to internal teams and clients
  • Understanding and representing the voice of our internal users by gathering and prioritizing customer requirements and feedback
  • Representing our platform engineering team when assessing client and sales opportunity needs around authentication, data hosting and transfer, and other platform-related features and functionality
  • Coordinating cross-functional stakeholders across engineering, client support, sales, and executive leadership to ensure everyone is aligned on our key initiatives
  • Creating and maintaining product roadmaps alongside our Product Strategy and Product Leadership teams
  • Prioritizing core platform requirements in a way that business and application owners can easily understand

Required and Preferred Skills:

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Product Management, Technical Product Management, Platform Product Management, or similar relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, healthcare, or other relevant subjects
  • Familiarity with common analytics technologies (e.g., experience with Databricks, SQL, R, Python etc.)
  • Understanding of cloud technologies and cloud-native architectures, with Azure experience preferred
  • Experience working with platform engineering, internal developer platforms, infrastructure services, APIs, CI/CD, DevOps workflows, observability, reliability, security, or other shared technical capabilities
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts, engineering trade-offs, and operational constraints into clear product requirements, roadmap priorities, and stakeholder communications
  • Strong product judgment in balancing long-term platform scalability, developer experience, compliance, operational reliability, and near-term delivery needs
  • Ability to analyze user requests, define requirements, develop project plans, and report conclusions
  • Strong understanding of how modern Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) platforms function, such as Pulumi and Terraform

Location:

This role is ideally based in Seattle, Washington, but remote work within the United States will be considered. The expected application deadline for this job is September 30, 2026. 

Compensation:

The overall salary range for this role is $104,900 - $199,065. For candidates residing in: 

  • Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York City, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia, the salary range is $120,635 - $199,065.  
  • All other locations the salary range is $104,900 - $173,100. 

A combination of factors will be considered, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, etc.
