Job ID: # 26-29431 Pay range: $90 - $100/hr on W2 Title: Product Design Engineer (II)/ Technical Program Manager - Data Center Infrastructure Duration: 6 Months contract (ends on 1 st week of Feb) Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite) Role Overview Seeking a technically strong Technical Program Manager to support data center hardware deployment and infrastructure planning. This role bridges platform engineering and physical data center infrastructure, ensuring compute, storage, networking, and ML hardware can be deployed efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities Evaluate hardware deployment across space, power, cooling, networking, redundancy, and physical layout constraints. Create optimized rack layouts and deployment guides; perform hardware "Tetrisking" to maximize density. Use 2D CAD to validate fit, clearances, and physical layouts. Gather requirements, evaluate layout options, document tradeoffs, and recommend solutions. Partner with data center design and product engineering teams. Develop clear technical documentation and perform spreadsheet-based layout calculations. Required Qualifications 3-5 years of data center infrastructure, systems engineering, network infrastructure, or related experience. 2-4 years of 2D CAD experience; ability to read, measure, rotate, copy/paste, and modify layouts. Understanding of compute, storage, networking, ML hardware, power, cooling, and fiber connectivity. Strong technical problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills. Engineering backgrounds in mechanical, electrical, computer, systems, or network infrastructure are preferred. Ideal Candidate TPM or technical program professional with hands-on data center infrastructure experience and 2D CAD skills.
