Job description

The Product Design Engineer will support the development of product designs and engineering documentation using SolidWorks and assist in creating accurate 3D models and technical drawings while learning design for manufacturing principles and contributing to speed-to-market initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain 3D CAD models and assemblies in SolidWorks.

Education / Experience

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Design, or related field.
  • 0–2 years of CAD design experience (internships or co-op experience acceptable).
  • Basic proficiency in SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.
  • Familiarity with engineering drawings and dimensioning principles.
  • Strong attention to detail , collaborative, team player and willingness to learn.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).


Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to plastic packaging, manufacturing, or product development environments.
  • Understanding of basic GD&T and design for manufacturing concepts
