Automation and Controls Product Engineer (Drives & Motors)

Are you an experienced controls engineer with a passion for industrial automation, drives, motors, and emerging technologies? Our client is seeking an Automation Controls Product Engineer to take ownership of a growing product line and become the technical expert behind innovative automation solutions used by manufacturers across North America.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the technical subject matter expert for drives, motors, gearmotors, and soft starters

What We're Looking For

  • Strong experience with AC/DC drives, motors, gearmotors, or motion control technologies
  • Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, servos, encoders, and industrial communication protocols
  • Experience evaluating, troubleshooting, testing, and applying automation products
  • Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience with UL, CSA, CE, RoHS, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks is a plus
