Job description

WHO WE ARE
At Harvey Performance Company, we're more than a team; we're a community. We design and manufacture high-performance cutting tools and take pride in the people behind the work. We value collaboration, continuous improvement, and giving employees room to grow, whether that's on the shop floor or supporting operations from behind the scenes.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a newly created role focused on building a consistent, reliable view of product performance across multiple product lines. Today, that view doesn't fully exist, and this role is responsible for putting it in place.
You'll define the right metrics, build reporting, and help product managers make better decisions with data. There's room to shape how this comes together, but the priorities are clear.
You'll work closely with product leadership and present insights to senior stakeholders. This role sits close to decision-making and plays a key part in how product strategy is evaluated and prioritized.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
  • Build product-level reporting and dashboards from the ground up using SQL-based data sources
  • Define and align key metrics across multiple product managers and product lines
  • Translate complex data into clear insights and present them to product leadership and senior stakeholders
  • Partner with product management to understand business questions and prioritize analytics work
  • Audit data sources and improve data quality, consistency, and documentation
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and introduce automation or AI-driven solutions
  • Establish a foundation for data governance and consistent metric definitions across the product organization

YOU'LL BRING:
  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics or business analytics with clear examples of influencing business decisions
  • Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience working in live data environments
  • Experience using Python or R for analysis and automation
  • Proven ability to build dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
  • Experience presenting data and insights to non-technical stakeholders, including leadership
  • Ability to work across teams and drive alignment without formal authority

NICE TO HAVE:
  • Experience building analytics infrastructure in a new or evolving environment
  • Exposure to AI or low-code tools used for workflow automation or analytics
  • Background in manufacturing, industrial products, or B2B environments
  • Experience supporting product management teams or working across the product lifecycle
  • Experience evaluating or recommending new tools or platforms

WHERE YOU'LL WORK
This role is remote but limited to candidates located in the Eastern or Central time zones due to collaboration with U.S. and European teams. Occasional travel may be required.
Harvey Performance Company is headquartered in Rowley, MA.
The pay range for this position is $85k - $100k annually. This range reflects what the company reasonably expects to pay at the time of posting. Where an individual's pay falls within the range will depend on their skills, background, and performance.
Equal Opportunity Employer
This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws. For further information, please review the Know Your Rights notice from the Department of Labor.
