Client/Job Summary:

Our client is a global commodity trading firm looking for a Product Controller to join their accounting and product control team. This is an opportunity to step into a high-impact role supporting a commodity platform, partnering across teams to drive visibility into performance, risk, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own P&L reporting and variance analysis across assigned trading books
  • Partner closely with traders and operations to understand positions, exposure, and market drivers
  • Support month-end close, including journal entries and balance sheet oversight
  • Assess and apply valuation methodologies across physical and derivative products
  • Deliver clean, timely reporting and actionable insights in a fast-moving environment
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvements and system enhancements
