Immediate Opening - Product Configuration Specialist


$19 - $22/hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm


Staffworks is seeking an experienced Product Configuration Specialist to join our team!

Product Configuration Specialist Essential Job Functions:
• Analyze and interpret customer produced engineering documentation to create part numbers and bills of material
• Exercise effective organizational and work management skills to produce multiple unique part numbers under time-sensitive conditions
• Access, navigate, research and enter data using various systems and software, including Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and the enterprise resource planning system
• Research, establish and maintain solutions based upon drawings, blueprint reading, customer data specifications, and/or special engineering product requests, as it relates to bills of material structuring, customer parts and costing
• Accurately perform mathematical calculations using basic math functions, unit of measure conversions, and geometry
• Ensure work is accurate and well-documented according to all quality management system standards
• Collaborate with various departments, including sales, engineering and quality to provide/obtain information and/or evaluation
• Attend training as needed or assigned
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:
• High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in technical area preferred
• 2 years of experience in a diverse process manufacturing environment
• 2 years of experience in product configuration, mechanical drawing interpretation
• Proficient at intermediate math applications
• PC proficient, intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
• Highly analytical and detail-oriented
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
