Job description

Reporting to the Director of Procurement, you will focus on Ingredient Procurement. You will lead research and strategy implementation, resolve complex supply challenges, and build relationships with internal teams and external suppliers. You will perform detailed category analysis, forecasting, and reporting while collaborating cross-functionally to identify and implement process improvements and strategic opportunities.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities
  • Manage purchasing and negotiation of assigned Ingredient categories based on market conditions and business requirements.

  • Develop category strategies informed by supply and demand, market dynamics, and cost drivers.

  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

  • Support contract and position management using Excel, SAP, Right Angle, and other internal systems.

  • Serve as the primary contact for contract management support across assigned locations.

  • Identify and mitigate material supply risks in partnership with procurement category managers and cross-functional teams.

  • Support research and development initiatives and manage inbound supply considerations for innovation projects.

  • Ensure implementation of enterprise procurement initiatives across assigned brands.

  • Conduct data gathering and risk and reward analysis for purchasing bids and specification change initiatives.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to manage raw material inventories and minimize loss or obsolescence.

  • Deliver accurate monthly forecasts and communicate changes in material costs and market drivers to stakeholders.

Ingredients Required for Your Success
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or Business.
  • 2 or more years of experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Finance.

  • Experience working in a matrixed environment with changing priorities.

  • Strengths in project management and conflict management.

  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency.

  • Experience using SAP or a comparable ERP system

  • Advanced Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables, and data relationships.

  • Advanced presentation development skills using PowerPoint.

  • Experience working with Power BI reporting.

  • Experience supporting procurement digital initiatives.

  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools and Copilot functionality.

  • Minimal Travel Required

  • In office 3 days per week Tuesday - Thursday

Compensation

Pay Range:$64,000-$95,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity.Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
