Procurement Manager

Title: Procurement Manager

Location: Kirkland, WA - Hybrid 1 day

Salary: $125,000 - $135,000

The company designs and manufactures precision motion control systems and aerospace components used in demanding, safety-critical environments. Its solutions support high performance mechanical and hydraulic systems that require strict quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

The Kirkland location serves as a key manufacturing and engineering hub focused on the production and assembly of aircraft components, flight control systems, and precision actuation technologies. This facility supports aerospace programs requiring rigorous quality standards, supplier coordination, and tightly controlled production processes to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

The organization serves customers across commercial aerospace, defense aviation, rotorcraft, and other high reliability industries requiring advanced motion control, actuation, and component manufacturing solutions.

The Procurement Manager will lead and optimize all purchasing and supplier management activities to ensure consistent supply, cost efficiency, and high quality performance in support of aerospace manufacturing operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with production requirements, customer demand, and long term business goals for aerospace manufacturing programs
  • Lead supplier sourcing, qualification, and performance management activities to ensure materials and components meet quality, cost, and delivery expectations
  • Negotiate long term agreements and contracts with suppliers to stabilize pricing, reduce risk, and improve supply chain reliability
  • Partner with operations, engineering, and quality teams to resolve supply chain issues, support production schedules, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage procurement team performance, monitor KPIs, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, visibility, and supplier performance

Required and Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of procurement or sourcing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within aerospace or regulated manufacturing environments
  • Strong experience with supplier negotiations, contract management, and sourcing strategies within complex supply chains
  • Knowledge of aerospace components, manufacturing processes, and quality requirements such as AS9100 or similar standards is preferred
  • Nice to have: Experience managing procurement teams, familiarity with ERP systems, strong analytical skills, and demonstrated ability to drive cost reduction and supplier performance improvement initiatives
