SHAPE THE FUTURE OF STRATEGIC PROCUREMENT


Lead transformational change as our Procurement Manager, where you\'ll drive organisation-wide procurement strategy and deliver measurable commercial value. This is your chance to build something significant whilst leading a dedicated team of four.


WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

You\'ll develop and implement procurement strategies that drive real efficiencies and savings across the business. Your role centres on ensuring compliance with the Procurement Act 2023/Procurement Regulations 2024 whilst embedding best practice throughout the organisation.


Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing expert procurement advice across diverse procurement activities
  • Overseeing complex tendering processes from start to finish
  • Presenting procurement strategies directly to senior leadership and the Board
  • Championing continuous improvement within purchase-to-pay processes
  • Developing comprehensive procurement training programmes
  • Managing critical stakeholder relationships across the business
  • Leading and developing your team of four procurement professionals

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

You\'ll have significant procurement and contract management experience, ideally gained within the public or regulated sector. Your comprehensive knowledge of the Procurement Regulations 2024 and public sector procurement frameworks will be essential.


We\'re looking for someone with:



  • A proven track record of delivering commercial value, efficiencies and cost savings

  • Experience leading complex tender exercises and managing contract performance

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills

  • Experience presenting to senior leadership teams and Boards

  • Hands-on experience with e-procurement systems and purchase-to-pay processes

  • Previous people management experience with ability to lead, motivate and develop high-performing teams
