About the Role
We're seeking a Procurement Specialist to lead sourcing strategies, supplier relationships, and cost reduction initiatives for a high-value automotive commodities portfolio. This role is ideal for a procurement professional who enjoys supplier negotiations, market analysis, and driving business results.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned commodities and suppliers.
  • Lead supplier selection activities for new product development programs.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and cost reduction initiatives to achieve annual savings goals.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships focused on quality, cost, and delivery.
  • Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to support sourcing decisions.
  • Manage multiple projects while ensuring accurate supplier data, quotations, and BOM maintenance.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and mentor junior team members.

Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
  • 1+ year of purchasing, procurement, or sourcing experience.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred:
  • Automotive purchasing experience.
  • Experience working with suppliers in a manufacturing environment.
  • Project management or leadership experience.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
