Job description

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will manage the purchasing of assigned commodities, ingredients, or packaging with a focus on price, quality, logistics, reliability, and supply continuity. You will be accountable for research, negotiations, master data analysis, transactional execution, reporting, and crossโ€‘functional collaboration to support procurement excellence and continuous improvement.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

  • Manage the purchasing of assigned commodities, ingredients, or packaging in alignment with business objectives.

  • Develop and apply an understanding of market dynamics, cost drivers, and logistics.

  • Develop and apply an understanding of company facilities, requirements, capabilities, processes, and constraints.

  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and multiple crossโ€‘functional teams.

  • Release requests for proposal, negotiate contracts, and execute agreements aligned to category strategies.

  • Provide research and analytical support for procurement initiatives and ad hoc projects.

  • Support business process improvements and documentation efforts.

  • Manage procurement master data and transactional processes within enterprise systems.

  • Develop an understanding of material requirements planning processes and supporting data.

  • Drive digital adoption by learning, applying, and continuously improving procurement tools and analytics to increase efficiency and decision quality.

  • Collaborate with other business functions to identify and implement process improvement opportunities.

  • Develop and maintain reports to support procurement performance and decision making.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree.

  • Two or more years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, commodity trade, or finance roles.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills for audiences at all levels of the organization.

  • Strategic thinking and critical problemโ€‘solving skills.

  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Experience with enterprise resource planning systems preferred.

  • Experience with data visualization and analytics tools preferred.

Compensation 

Pay Range:$64,000-$95,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employeeโ€™s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employeesโ€™ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
