Job description

Reporting to theProcurement Manager, you will manage the purchasing of assigned commodities, ingredients, packaging, or services with consideration to price, quality, logistics, reliability, and supply continuity. You will be responsible for market analysis, supplier management, negotiations, contract strategy and execution, master data stewardship, transactional support, and reporting. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to identify value opportunities, develop supply strategies, improve processes, and maintain strong supplier relationships that support business objectives.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sourcing and category strategies for assigned commodities, ingredients, packaging, or services in alignment with approved procurement programs.
  • Analyze market conditions, supply trends, commodity drivers, and logistics impacts to inform purchasing decisions and risk mitigation plans.
  • Lead supplier selection and relationship management, including competitive bidding, performance management, innovation discussions, and contract negotiations and execution.
  • Ensure internal customer needs are met through effective supplier selection, contract management, and value-focused purchasing decisions.
  • Maintain accurate procurement master data and support transactional excellence through enterprise systems and digital tools.
  • Identify and deliver productivity improvements, cost savings, working capital benefits, and process improvements across the procurement portfolio.
  • Resolve supply, pricing, contract, and supplier performance issues using sound judgment and a sense of urgency.
  • Use analytics and reporting tools to monitor performance, support decision making, and communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Champion continuous improvement and change initiatives that strengthen procurement capabilities, processes, and business partnerships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop supply strategies that support business objectives and continuity of supply.

Ingredients Required for Your Success
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Five or more years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, purchasing, supply chain, commodity management, or finance.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with experience influencing stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization.
  • Strategic mindset with strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Working knowledge of market economics, cost structures, and value analysis to support fact-based sourcing decisions.
  • Experience negotiating commercial terms and supporting contract development and execution.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning systems preferred.
  • Experience with data visualization and analytics tools preferred.

Pay Range:$82,000-$120,000
The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
