The main difference between a Procurement Apprentice and a Procurement Coordinator lies in experience and responsibilities. An apprentice is an entry-level trainee focusing on learning procurement processes, while a coordinator manages procurement activities and supports supply chain operations. Both roles are essential in the procurement field, with apprentices often progressing to coordinator positions as they gain experience.

Can you get into procurement apprentice with no experience?

Procurement apprenticeships often do not require prior experience, as they are designed to train individuals new to the field. Candidates typically need a high school diploma or equivalent and may benefit from basic skills in communication, organization, and computer use. On-the-job training and mentorship are common components of these programs.
