Sleeping Dog Properties is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with expertise in construction accounting to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage financial records using QuickBooks and Procore, ensuring accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping for our construction projects. This role is critical in supporting the financial health and operational efficiency of our company.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers related to construction projects.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable using QuickBooks.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare and process invoices, billing, and payments in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with project managers to track budgets and expenses within Procore.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and construction industry accounting standards.
  • Generate financial reports to support management decision-making.
  • Assist with payroll processing and tax documentation as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive financial information.
