Job Title: Processing Manager
Reports To: Chief Operations Officer
FLSA Status: Exempt
Department: Processing
Division: Retail
Salary Range: $95K to $110K per year
Summary:
The Processing Manager is responsible for promoting teamwork and providing exceptional internal and external customer service through timely, accurate and effective processing of loan applications in accordance with the company's underwriting and valuation policies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily operations of processing and supervise the processing team.
  • Ensure loans follow established timelines and workflow processes and procedures.
  • Monitor team pipeline, workload and volume levels for balance and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with peer managers in underwriting and closing for efficient handling of files.
  • Maintain checklists for critical functions performed on the team.
  • Assist Processors with quality issues by providing training for improvement.
  • Ensure loans are processed within SLA's set by the company.
  • Provides guidance to all processing and support staff on program guidelines and acceptable documentation to meet program, agency, and investor guidelines.
  • Review and investigate escalation requests to ensure appropriate resolution is reached and communicated promptly.
  • Update and enforce standard operating processing policies and procedures.
  • Assist and provide backup coverage for Processors as needed.
  • Proficient in how to look up all program guidelines.
  • Fluent with DU, LP and GUS.
  • Attend monthly management meetings.
  • Provide ongoing coaching as needed for team members on time management and productivity skills.
  • Develop and perform new and ongoing training for the department and new processors.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
  • Represent the company with the highest quality work product and superior communication skills.
