Job description

MPG delivers radio frequency (RF) spectrum-centric solutions at the speed of technology. We enable mission-critical communications and space-based missions with ruggedized RF components, subsystems, and turn-key solutions. Civilian government, military and commercial customers rely on MPG's deep engineering expertise, and scalable manufacturing capability to deliver what they need, when they need it. MPG operates engineering and manufacturing facilities in:  Austin, TX;  Columbia, MD;  Ventura, CA;  West Chester, OH;  Salisbury, MD; Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic; and York, United Kingdom.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Performs all material handling/flow process duties supporting all manufacturing operations and provides on-time delivery of product to the internal and external customer.  Performs receiving, shipping, stockroom, material movement and system transaction duties including but not limited to stocking, kit pulls, kanban support and replenishment to the cells, reporting and recording shortages or damaged material, material receiving from internal and external suppliers and invoice processing for customer shipments. Daily includes processing material transactions including receipts, issues, scrap, adjustments, and production receipts.  Conducts and ensures inventory accuracy and cycle counting.  Reads and understands the BOM. Responsible for understanding and complying with all state, federal and international shipping laws as it relates to product shipment and customer packaging requirements.  Records job specific data on forms, logs, etc. Uses the computer to check inventory, allocate material, etc., and report any unresolved issues to the Inventory Processing Associate Group Leader for resolution.

QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY:

High School Diploma or GED plus a minimum of 1-year experience in warehousing or stockroom operations. Ability to communicate clearly, both written and oral.  Ability to read and interpret instructions. Basic math and reasoning skills required.  Knowledge of cycle counting and inventory accuracy concepts a plus.

  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds (using appropriate lifting equipment).

Work Arrangement : Onsite

Pay Range: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Bonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
