Position Summary:
USA Clinics Group is looking for an experienced Assistant Director of IT to join or Corporate team! Reporting directly to the Director of Information Technology, the Assistant Director of IT supports the IT Director in overseeing technology operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and systems performance while leading the organization's adoption of AI, automation, and digital transformation tools.
Position Details:
  • Location: Northbrook, IL
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday on-site.
  • Compensation: $90,000 - $105,000

Key Responsibilities
  • Support IT strategy, infrastructure, and daily operations
  • Lead technology implementation projects and system upgrades
  • Oversee cybersecurity monitoring and compliance support
  • Manage vendors, systems, and IT service performance
  • Identify and implement AI-driven solutions across departments
  • Develop automation workflows for IT support and business processes
  • Assist in building enterprise AI governance standards
  • Serve as backup to IT Director
  • Additional duties as assigned

AI & Automation Requirement
  • Must actively identify opportunities to automate manual IT and business processes
  • Must implement AI tools for ticketing, monitoring, reporting, and system optimization
  • Responsible for integrating AI into IT operations and cross-functional workflows
  • Expected to evaluate and deploy emerging AI technologies to improve efficiency and reduce operational workload

Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
  • 7-10 years of IT experience
  • 3+ years in IT leadership or senior systems/infra role
  • Experience managing infrastructure, vendors, or enterprise systems
  • Strong cybersecurity and systems integration knowledge
  • Proven experience leading IT projects or implementations
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

AI Requirement:
  • Demonstrated experience implementing AI or automation tools in IT operations (ticketing, monitoring, workflows, or reporting)
  • Ability to evaluate and deploy emerging AI technologies in enterprise environments
