Summary:
Responsible for operations associated with inbound and outbound shipments and supporting the warehouse supervisors and leads.
Duties:
- Accurately schedule all inbound and/or outbound freight shipments.
- Accurately document all inbound and/or outbound shipments.
- Assist the Supervisor and/or Lead with maintaining flow of containers/orders on the floor.
- Assist on the warehouse floor with breakdown and wrapping of pallets, labeling, unloading/loading trucks, etc.
- Identify mistakes before they are received and/or shipped and record errors to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure documentation of processes and procedures are up to date.
- Work with Supply Chain on shipments that have overages and shortages.
- Create labels for international and/or domestic shipments as needed.
- Accurately create export documents for international shipments.
- Create packing lists for customer orders and transfer orders.
- Assist with order processing.
- Assist with receiving inbound shipments.
- Assist with daily Cash orders.
- Complete international shipping docs and consolidations.
- Maintain WMS.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required.
2+ years of related job experience preferred.
RF handheld experience preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk on level surfaces for a prolonged period. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms above should height and below the waist. The employee must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. 70% of the day and up to 65 lbs. 30% of the day.
