Draslovka Mining Solutionsfacility located in Memphis Tennessee has aSodium Cyanide Process Technology Engineer - Assistant to Operation (ATO) position available. This is a highly visible, key role within the Company and the Manufacturing function. This position will report to the Manufacturing Technology Manager at the Memphis Plant.

Responsibilities include

Supports capital projects, including scope and basic data development, project oversight and equipment start up

Provides technical leadership to improve process safety, reliability, capability and productivity

Leads and/or participates in Process Hazards Analysis reviews

Design solutions and lead multi-discipline programs to improve processes based on business input (yield, uptime, capacity release, cost performance)

Provides technical oversight or leads troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex operational issues, including SHE and quality incident investigations

Qualifications (Required & Preferred)

Required

BS or MS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering

Demonstrated ability to apply technical knowledge to diagnose, troubleshoot, solve equipment and process issues.

Demonstratedknowledgeof key PSM Technology elements such as Process Hazards Analysis, Process Technology, Management of Change-Technology, RAGAGEP among others

Experience with highly hazardous chemical processes

Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple, complex, time-sensitive projects

Demonstrated skill in leadership, team building and achieving results through influence and negotiation

Good interpersonal and communication skills. Must work well in both self-managed and team environment

Self-management skills with strong initiative

Preferred

5 years technical and/or production experience in chemical manufacturing facilities.

Experience with Capital improvement projects

Experience with vacuum crystallization, solids/liquid separation, and solids handling operations.

Demonstrated use of Six Sigma methodology (Green Belt or Black Belt certified)

Demonstrated ability to teach, coach, mentor develop others

SAP experience

IP 21 experience

Process Modeling Experience with ASPEN, HTRI, etc.
