  • Manage and track engineering changes, process updates, and industrialization activities from launch to serial production.
  • Develop and execute action plans (action decks) to improve quality, productivity, and process capability.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on scrap reduction, cycle time optimization, and process standardization.
  • Support new product launches, trials, and start-ups, including process validation and ramp-up.
  • Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA, PFMEA, process controls).
  • Collaborate with Tooling Engineering and Tool Room to improve die performance, tool life, and maintenance strategies.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for casting and machining issues.
  • Ensure standardization of processes, including creation and maintenance of process sheets, work instructions, and technical documentation.
  • Lead and deliver technical training programs for engineers, technicians, and production personnel (process, machines, and best practices).
  • Support TPM and preventive maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Machining teams.
  • Be flexible to support different shifts as required by production needs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineer or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in HPDC and machining operations.
  • Strong knowledge of HPDC processes, tooling, machining operations, and industrialization.
  • Experience in process control, PFMEA, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience supporting start-ups, equipment installation, or production ramp-up.
  • Proven leadership experience managing technical teams across shifts.
