Job description

DH Pace Company, Inc. aspires to hire a Project Coordinator  Olathe, KS to ensure project objectives are met by specified date and within budget by effectively planning, directing, and coordinating activities. This individual will support our commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with project managers on all aspects of projects including -processing shop drawings, project correspondence, and billing
  • Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Set up and maintain files on sold projects
  • Prepare and submit monthly progress billings for current projects
  • Process project related paperwork to include contracts, subcontracts, lien waivers, etc. -Create and manage purchase orders and change orders
  • Obtain quotes from vendors
  • Purchase and track material -Assist in creating submittal documents -Other responsibilities as assigned

Job Qualifications:

  • Construction management degree or two (2) years' experience as a Project Coordinator or Assistant Project Manager/Engineer for a construction/service company, sub-contractor, or property management firm preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Candidates will need to have a high attention to detail and enjoy a fast-paced work environment that is very deadline focused
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Access and Outlook
  • Excellent communication, customer relations, and problem-solving skills
