Role Summary
This senior-level Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP System Administrator oversees the administration, optimization, and strategic development of the company''s ERP systems, primarily focusing on Finance and Operations modules. Responsible for ensuring high system availability, security, and performance, this role requires a blend of technical expertise, cloud platform knowledge, and functional understanding of finance and supply chain processes. The position involves leading support activities, managing system upgrades, and collaborating closely with internal teams to improve ERP performance and stability.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP environments, ensuring seamless operation and issue resolution.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve support tickets related to Dynamics AX2009 and Dynamics 365 systems, including after-hours accounting support when necessary.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and perform routine system maintenance tasks.
  • Support infrastructure related to Azure and Microsoft 365 cloud platforms to maintain ERP system health.
  • Collaborate with internal finance, supply chain, and IT teams to identify and resolve system issues.
  • Monitor system performance and implement ongoing improvements, updates, and upgrades.
  • Document technical issues, resolutions, and support procedures for future reference.
  • Assist in system security assessments and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
  • Participate in planning and executing system enhancements and new feature deployments.
  • Maintain current knowledge of Microsoft Cloud technologies and ERP best practices to recommend strategic improvements.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP systems or equivalent, such as AX2009.
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud platform and Microsoft 365 environments preferred.
  • Strong understanding of systems administration fundamentals and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Excellent support and customer service skills, with the ability to manage support tickets efficiently.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in configuration, maintenance, and support of ERP systems.

Publishing Pay Range: $35.00 - $48.00 hourly

This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
