Job description

The Process Operations Technician II combines fabrication skills and the use of composite materials to manufacture assemblies. Manufacture components and assemblies from raw materials by following written process and verbal instructions. This position will support Dip Room operations.

Additional Information
This position may require access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws.  As a condition of any job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you may need to obtain a U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.

    Experience:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in area of responsibility.
    • Work from process routing cards and detailed procedures, or verbal instructions to manufacture a variety of products
    • Use tooling/fixturing for alignment and processing during the manufacturing process
    • Set up and operate various types of equipment while maintaining a safe environment, including but not limited to: ovens, coating and plating baths, alignment and measuring equipment, exhaust hoods and sanding tables and others as require
    • Mix materials such as resins, catalysts and fillers according to process instructions
    • Apply, cure and sand filler materials used to remove pin-holes and smooth imperfections in preparation for painting process
    • Cut material to size, using shears, knives, cutters, scissors, router, or saw
