About Q&S

Q&S is a fast-growing Managed Services Provider based in Houston, Texas. We support businesses across a wide range of industries and pride ourselves on being responsive, reliable, and deeply committed to the people we serve.

We are a high-accountability, team-first environment where people wear multiple hats and jump in where needed. We move fast, support one another, and care deeply about doing things the right way.

Our core values guide how we operate every day:

Family Focused
Faith Centered
Win as a Team
Strive for Greatness
Serve with Integrity

We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, proactive, and excited to grow alongside a company that is continuing to evolve.

About the Role

This is not a traditional “sit behind a desk and do one thing” role.

This position is for someone who enjoys helping keep a business organized, moving, and operating smoothly. One moment you may be helping coordinate priorities or following up on operational tasks, and the next you may be receiving packages, organizing equipment inventory, preparing hardware for deployment, researching technology purchases, or assisting the team during a busy day.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable around technology and interested in learning more about IT operations and equipment management. While this is not a technical support role, the right candidate should be capable of understanding technology products, coordinating purchasing, managing inventory, and helping ensure equipment and operational processes stay organized.

This role also requires someone who is naturally proactive and solution-oriented. In the beginning, we expect this person to identify problems, think critically, and come forward with possible solutions. Over time, we want someone who becomes confident enough to independently solve day-to-day operational issues and keep things moving without needing constant direction.

We are a small, collaborative company, and everyone contributes where needed. The right person for this role is someone who naturally notices problems, communicates proactively, follows through consistently, and enjoys supporting both people and operations.

This role is fully on-site because day-to-day communication, collaboration, and operational awareness are important to how our team works together.

Responsibilities

Operational & Administrative Support

  • Help keep day-to-day operations organized and moving forward
  • Follow up on open items and ensure tasks are completed
  • Assist with scheduling, coordination, and internal communication
  • Support leadership with administrative and operational tasks
  • Help maintain documentation and organizational systems

Technology & Operational Coordination

  • Assist with technology purchasing and order coordination
  • Help track and manage equipment inventory and organization
  • Prepare equipment and materials for onboarding and deployments
  • Coordinate deliveries, receiving, and inventory management
  • Communicate with vendors and help ensure orders and operational needs stay on track
  • Support internal operational processes and team coordination as needed

Office & Team Support

  • Receive and organize packages and deliveries
  • Manage office, kitchen, and supply inventory
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment
  • Jump in where needed to support the team during busy periods

General Team Support

  • Assist with special projects and operational initiatives
  • Adapt as responsibilities evolve with company growth
  • Help identify and solve operational gaps or inefficiencies
  • Support a positive, team-oriented work environment

What Success Looks Like

A successful person in this role:

  • Follows through without needing to be chased
  • Communicates proactively and clearly
  • Keeps things organized and moving forward
  • Notices problems before they become bigger issues
  • Thinks critically and approaches problems with solutions
  • Becomes increasingly independent and self-sufficient over time
  • Creates stability and reduces stress for the team
  • Is dependable, responsive, and team-oriented
  • Takes ownership and helps wherever needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of personal responsibility and follow-through
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently without constant direction
  • Positive attitude and willingness to help
  • Comfortable working closely with a team in-office
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt as priorities shift
  • Comfortable working around technology, hardware, and operational systems

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience in operations, office coordination, purchasing, inventory management, or administrative support
  • Comfortable working with technology products, hardware, and IT-related equipment
  • Experience coordinating orders, vendors, or operational logistics
  • Experience working in a fast-paced small business environment
  • Interest in technology or IT operations

Why Join Q&S

  • Be part of a growing company where your work matters
  • High-trust, team-oriented environment
  • Variety in your day-to-day work
  • Opportunity to grow professionally alongside the business
  • Direct exposure to operations and leadership
  • Work with a team that genuinely supports one another

If you are someone who enjoys helping things run smoothly, takes pride in being dependable, and wants to be part of a collaborative team environment, we’d love to hear from you.
