HiFyve is hiring a Process Technologist in the Food & Beverage Manufacturing industry in Green Bay, WI!


Salary: $90K + 5% Bonus

About the Role

This role supports product and process development from R&D through full-scale production, focusing on dairy manufacturing. You’ll lead scale-ups, drive continuous improvement, and act as the key link between R&D and plant operations to ensure successful product commercialization.


Job Responsibilities

  • Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance yield, quality, and cost efficiency
  • Support product development by evaluating production feasibility and identifying risks
  • Manage product scale-ups, line trials, and process changes across manufacturing
  • Translate R&D formulations into production-ready processes and documentation
  • Coordinate and execute benchtop, pilot, and plant trials
  • Maintain technical documentation including specifications, formulations, and SAP records
  • Support equipment validation, commissioning, and process optimization
  • Identify cost savings, material improvements, and process efficiencies
  • Collaborate with Quality on product testing, release, and compliance
  • Communicate technical findings, project updates, and recommendations to stakeholders


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–6 years of dairy manufacturing or related food production experience
  • Strong understanding of food chemistry, microbiology, and dairy processing
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies
  • Familiarity with plant operations and manufacturing processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems (SAP preferred)
  • Experience with lab and pilot-scale equipment
  • Strong problem-solving, organization, and project management skills
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly across teams
  • English fluency required
