Summary Description:
The IT Process Lead - Commercial is responsible for partnering with Commercial Finance, Sales, Sales Support, Brand Marketing, Customer Planning, and IT stakeholders to deliver and support technology solutions that enable revenue growth management, trade promotion management, pricing, promotion planning, sales planning, brand planning, customer planning, commercial analytics, and related business capabilities. This role will help lead business process design, requirements definition, testing, adoption, and ongoing enhancement of commercial systems, with an initial focus on deploying and supporting a Trade Promotion Management (TPM) platform.
  • Partner with business leaders, process owners, IT teammates, and third-party implementation partners to design, test, deploy, and stabilize commercial technology solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted IT partner to Gorilla Glue Commercial Leadership and business process leads by translating business needs into scalable system solutions and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Manage enhancement intake, prioritization, testing, documentation, and post-go-live support for commercial applications and related integrations.
  • Provide 'hands on' administrative support for commercial applications
  • Bring curiosity, innovation, and thought leadership to help Gorilla Glue improve processes, strengthen data quality, and increase adoption of modern commercial capabilities.

Experience with RGM, TPM, pricing, promotion planning, sales planning, customer planning, commercial analytics, ERP, CRM, or similar business applications is preferred. Candidates with strong business systems implementation experience and transferable commercial process knowledge are encouraged to apply.

Duties:
  • Lead and support commercial application initiatives, enhancements, integrations, and issue resolution across RGM, TPM, sales, marketing, finance, and related business processes.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define business value, document processes, and prioritize enhancement requests.
  • Collaborate with IT teammates, vendors, consultants, and business users to deliver software projects from planning through deployment and stabilization.
  • Configure, test, validate, and troubleshoot system changes, including data flows, reporting outputs, integrations, and security or access considerations as needed.
  • Plan and facilitate meetings, workshops, testing sessions, and user discussions to drive decisions and resolve open items.
  • Support user acceptance testing, defect triage, change readiness, training preparation, go-live activities, and post-go-live support.
  • Assist users with questions, training needs, process clarification, and application support requests.
  • Create and maintain clear functional, technical, process, testing, and support documentation.
  • Manage vendor relationships, coordinate consultant work, and help ensure third-party deliverables meet business and IT expectations.
  • Assist IT Leadership with planning, tracking, and managing software licensing, implementation services, and support-related budget items.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.

Experience / Background:
  • At least 5 years of experience supporting, implementing, or improving business applications, with demonstrated business analysis, process design, requirements gathering, testing, documentation, and stakeholder partnership experience related to technology initiatives.
  • Experience leading projects or implementing enterprise applications that support commercial, revenue growth management, trade promotion management, pricing, sales planning, marketing, finance, or customer planning processes.
  • Experience with RGM or TPM platforms in a consumer products, retail, manufacturing, or distribution environment is preferred.
  • Clear understanding of commercial business processes, data dependencies, analytics, reporting, and KPIs.
  • Experience identifying, assessing, documenting, and helping manage risks, issues, decisions, dependencies, and change impacts associated with business systems initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, problem-solving, negotiation, facilitation, and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter who can stay on track, drive progress, and pursue solutions with limited supervision in an office or hybrid work environment.
  • Strong business process analysis skills with the ability to translate requirements into solutions, test cases, documentation, and support models.
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities at the same time.
  • Willingness to expand skills, develop new capabilities, and learn new applications, processes, and systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 collaboration tools.
