As a Sr. Business Process Architect, you will play a critical role in driving business process excellence for Hormel.  You will have an opportunity to deliver process and quality improvements that add value for our customers.  You will add great value to the company by modeling and managing business process to drive standardization and predictibility.  This role provides an opportunity to demonstrate leadership within a collaborative team with high visibility and impact.  As a member of the business process team, you will be provided learning opportunities and career development coaching.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  •  Current State Process Modeling
    • Able to partner with stakeholders and sponsors to inventory processes and develop process scope
    • Able to train process owners and stakeholders to model current state business process aligned to best practices and Hormel standards
    •   Responsible for third party contractors, consultants, and vendors adhering to Hormel requirements to model process able to manage a backlog of business process models to get them reviewed and published to the standard repository
  • Publish Process Models
    • Able to partner with process owners to ensure processes are current and certified on a regular cadence
    • Able to partner with internal controls to ensure process models have adequately documented controls prior to publishing
  • Manage Process Repository
    • Able to perform system maintenance and operational support for the standard repository (ARIS)
    • Manage vendor service agreements and support for the standard repository (ARIS)
    • Develop and execute a strategy to expand the use of the standard repository (ARIS)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in business process management, process modeling, program/project management OR Minimum 4 years of experience in business process management, process modeling, program/project management with master's degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or technology
  • Ability to travel 10-15%.
  • At least 6 years' experience in business process management including process modeling
    • Knowledgeable in standards and best practices for process modeling/management (i.e. BPMN, APQC, etc.)
    • Able to lead diverse teams to a solution that achieves defined objectives
    • Able to work with sponsors/champions to model processes
  • Excellent project management, teaming, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Can effectively manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously
  • At least 6 years' experience in process modeling, mining, and management tools such as ARIS, MS Visio, Miro, etc.
  • Admin experience with process modeling tool such as ARIS
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams, MS Outlook 
  • Willingness and ability to learn and work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team
  • Possess a hunger for personal and professional development

  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS: Hormel Foods offers an excellent benefits package. The base pay range for this position $93,400-$130,800 per year; however, actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills set, level of experience, and specific office location.
