Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Sr. Manager, Security and Integration to join our shared services team.

Primary Responsibilities:

Engineering Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop Engineering Supervisors, Technical Leads, and engineering personnel across all low-voltage technology disciplines.
  • Foster a culture focused on accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing engineering talent.
  • Establish career development plans, succession planning, and technical training initiatives.

Engineering Operations

  • Direct engineering activities supporting both pre-sales and post-sales operations.
  • Balance engineering workloads across regions and business units to maximize efficiency and responsiveness.
  • Monitor engineering capacity, utilization, backlog, and staffing requirements.
  • Develop resource strategies that support business growth while maintaining quality and customer commitments.
  • Establish operational metrics and KPIs to measure engineering performance.

Technical Leadership

  • Establish engineering standards, design practices, documentation requirements, and quality assurance processes.
  • Review complex system architectures and provide technical guidance on challenging opportunities and projects.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, manufacturer requirements, and industry standards.
  • Support technical escalation for high-risk customer opportunities and complex deployments.

Business Partnership

  • Partner closely with Sales to develop innovative, competitive solutions during the pursuit phase.
  • Collaborate with Operations to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Work with Procurement, Vendors, and Field Operations to improve project delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Support Executive Leadership in strategic planning, organizational growth, and engineering initiatives.

Process Improvement

  • Drive continuous improvement across engineering workflows, documentation, quality control, and project delivery.
  • Standardize engineering processes across all offices and business units.
  • Develop engineering templates, design standards, estimation tools, and commissioning documentation.
  • Leverage technology and automation to improve engineering efficiency and consistency.

Customer Success

  • Ensure engineering teams consistently deliver high-quality, cost-effective, and scalable solutions.
  • Support executive customer engagements and major project reviews.
  • Resolve complex technical issues while maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Champion a customer-first approach throughout the engineering organization.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Information Technology, Construction Management, or equivalent industry experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in systems integration or low-voltage technologies.
  • 5+ years leading engineering teams within a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting both pre-sales solution development and post-sales project execution.
  • Strong understanding of integrated low-voltage systems including Security, Audio Visual, Structured Cabling, Healthcare Technologies, Wireless, DAS, and related technologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and strategic planning skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading engineering organizations across multiple offices or regions.
  • Experience developing engineering standards, operational KPIs, and quality programs.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, D-Tools, Visio, and ERP/CRM platforms.
  • Industry certifications such as PMP, NICET, CTS, RCDD, CCNA, Genetec, LenelS2, Milestone, Notifier, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of applicable industry standards including NFPA, NEC, UL, BICSI, TIA, and cybersecurity best practices.

The salary range for this position is $120,000-145,000 annually. The starting salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, and internal equity. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
