Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking Command Systems Prod Ops Design Integration Manager, Engineering 2.This position is in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program.
This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
What You'll Get To Do:
Support the Air Force's Engineering & Manufacturing Development (EMD) contract to replace the aging Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) System and associated infrastructure.
Essential functions include:
  • Cross functional communication, mentoring, and collaborate with s senior management, peers, and employees
  • Provides ownership for the people, processes, tools & training that support manufacturing operations and programs in achieving their missions.
  • Provides leadership direction in areas such as: Technical Guidance, Process Development, Continuous Improvement, Capacity Planning, Capital & Facility Planning, Cost/ Benefit Analysis, Manpower Planning, Staffing, and AS9100 and all auditable processes.
  • Driving employee efficiency
  • Engaging employees to achieve their highest potential

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM and a minimum 8 years of aerospace manufacturing or related field; Master's Degree with 6 years in a related field
  • Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
  • 1 year experience with Production Planning functions
  • 1 year of leading manufacturing or production operations activities
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
  • 1 year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule
  • Preferred candidate will be a proven leader; problem solver; possess a strong work ethic; and have excellent communications and interpersonal skills required to work closely with teammates, stakeholders and both internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrated leadership or management experience leading manufacturing or production operations activities, operating in a dynamic environment of increasing production schedules and high delivery rates
  • Technical or functional environmental leadership experience
  • Familiarity with Northrop Grumman project execution, processes and procedures.
  • Aerospace / ICBM Industry Experience
  • Experience working with ERP Systems such as: SAP & MES
  • Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
  • Experience standing up tools / processes / production schedules / metrics

Primary Level Salary Range: $126,600.00 - $189,800.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
