Analog Devices Federal LLC is looking for a Process Engineering Technician responsible for developing and releasing new products and processes for complex microwave and millimeter wave electronic modules. The selected candidate will provide Operations support on the manufacturing floor in our internal manufacturing facility in Chelmsford, MA.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Work with Manufacturing Engineering staff to develop new procedures and processes that incorporate design for manufacturing's best practices to improve yield and cycle time metrics.

  • Support troubleshooting of equipment and process issues that arise on their shift.

  • Provide training to Operators on equipment and processes as needed.

  • Perform investigations and analyses to disposition non-conforming material, and participate in the root cause investigation and corrective action implementation.

  • Provides guidance to production operators when engineering support is required.

  • Provides general technical assistance to the Engineering and Manufacturing organizations, including items such as data collection, equipment validation and qualification, automation programming, etc.

Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizen Willing to apply for a security clearance

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience with Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or related technical discipline in the micro-electronics industry

  • Prior experience working in a semiconductor or electronics manufacturing environment (3-5 years of applicable experience)

  • Strong analytical mind with problem solving skills

  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with direct labor on the Assembly floor

  • Ability to handle time sensitive projects and assist with data driven decision making in a manufacturing environment.

  • Understanding and knowledge of Data analysis, Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE), 6-Sigma, Lean manufacturing principles is a plus
