Senior Process Engineer
Keystone Engineering Group, Inc. is a Professional Engineering Firm and Systems Integrator with 25+ years of experience in Design and Design-Build services for Water, Wastewater, and private industries. We have five offices located in Southeastern Pennsylvania, Northeastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Lewes Delaware, and Seaford Delaware.

Required Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering
  • Professional Engineer's license is required
  • Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
  • Experience in municipal wastewater is required, and must include a production of contract drawings and specifications
  • Experience with contract and construction management and with industrial wastewater treatment is a plus
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and approachability in demeanor to work effectively with peers and clients
  • Ability to read and understand engineering and construction drawings, and standard specifications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, and show close attention to detail
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work with strict and competing deadlines on an ongoing basis

Responsibilities:
  • Take on new projects with unknown scopes with limited guidance and use available resources
  • Be self-sufficient on project tasks from proposal to deliverable, and self-manage workload and project timelines
  • Develop proposal scopes with Project Managers and Client Managers
  • Take solo responsibility for the design and specification of full projects
  • Coordinate directly with team members, Owners and Clients on required information, scope, and technical decisions
  • Manage multiple concurrent, competing schedules between design and construction projects
  • Make independent technical design decisions
  • Develop calculations for biological treatment, process pipe, and pump sizes
  • Edit CSI type specifications for project manuals
  • Work with Designers to develop drawing packages, provide markups
  • Develop concepts for wastewater treatment process
  • Provide QC and PE reviews for the work of other staff members
  • Deliverable QC review comments are abstract and discussion based on high level concepts
