We are looking for a Product Engineering Manager to join our Summerville SC location!
Your Responsibilities:
The Product Engineering Manager is responsible for leading product engineering activities across the full product lifecycle, from manufacturing introduction through completion and distribution. This role provides strategic and operational leadership by defining product vision and roadmaps, allocating resources across product portfolios, coordinating cross-functional execution, and ensuring products meet specification, quality, cost, and profitability objectives in alignment with organizational goals.

Salary: $131,000 -$174,000

Your Challenge:
  • Lead and manage product engineering functions by setting departmental objectives, allocating resources, and overseeing execution across multiple products or complex product lines
  • Define and execute product vision and roadmap by prioritizing product and customer requirements and ensuring alignment with company strategy, revenue targets, and market needs
  • Coordinate cross-functional product execution by partnering with design, manufacturing, quality, test, sales, marketing, and external partners to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Oversee product validation and readiness activities, including beta and pilot programs, to ensure early-stage products meet performance, quality, and release criteria
  • Drive cost, profitability, and performance outcomes by developing and executing long-term plans for cost control, process improvement, and portfolio optimization

Your Expertise:
  • Due to DoD requirements, candidates must be US citizens
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Security clearances and approvals
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Demonstrated experience leading product engineering teams within a manufacturing or product-focused engineering environment
  • Proven ability to define and execute product strategy, roadmaps, and lifecycle plans aligned with business objectives
  • Experience managing cross-functional product delivery involving engineering, manufacturing, quality, test, sales, and external stakeholders
  • Strong background in cost management, profitability analysis, and long-term planning for product portfolios
  • Advanced leadership, communication, and decision-making skills, with experience developing engineering managers and senior professionals
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with tactical execution to achieve departmental and organizational goals
