Job description

Job Summary

The Coordinator, Merchandising, provides coordination and functional support to Pricing and Integrity management to include administrative support to Pricing and Integrity in support of category management. Assists with item retail support, new item data management, pre-orders, promotions, prepares reports, coordinates information requests, receives visitors, arranges conference calls, schedules and coordinates meetings, prepares correspondence, and performs clerical functions such as mail distribution and filing.

 Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

        Provides customer service to vendors and stores on vendor and product support issues

        Coordinates new vendor and item implementation process

        Coordinates preorder information with accurate cost and retail

        Processes promotional information for Marketing and Store Systems teams

        Coordinates Procurement/Sourcing and Banner Departments paperwork flow

        Assists with ad proofing/editing

        Inputs/transfers ad projection information

        May maintain internal product code database

        Assists with maintenance/updates of sign database

        May maintain/update pricing and/or scale maintenance

        Receives/processes and prepares/coordinates invoices, reports, memos, correspondence, emails, presentations and other documents

        Coordinates and maintains calendars for departmental leadership; schedules and coordinates meetings, buying shows, etc.

        Performs other duties as assigned
