The Role

ATARC, a platform of GovExec, is looking for a highly motivated, organized, and service-oriented Associate, Working Groupsto join our team. ATARC hosts over 13 remote Working Groups and Labs that convene bi-monthly, bringing together leading government, industry, and academic stakeholders in emerging technologies. If you are excited about technology - such as Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Digital Transformation - and its potential impact on the Federal Government, this could be the opportunity for you. As the Working Group Associate, you will report directly to the Working Group Director.

Responsibilities

Attend Working Group meetings, including assisting with meeting invitations via Google Calendar & ZoomGov, tracking attendance, recording meeting minutes to distribute to group members after each meeting, and helping with Working Group member follow-ups to ensure group objectives and deliverables are met on schedule.

Provide superior customer service and support as needed for Working Group members.

Manage shared calendars, spreadsheets, and project trackers updated with current and accurate data.

Assist with document management (group-authored White Papers, Working Group Charters, relevant documents, etc.) in the shared file drive (currently Box.com ).

Support ATARC's Marketing and Events Teams as needed to ensure Working Group events are posted and promoted.

Coordinate lab demonstrations (i.e. Zero Trust), Working Group webinars and podcasts, and breakout project teams.

Support overall management of additional projects as needed, with the opportunity to manage additional responsibilities and tasks based on interests, experiences, and organizational needs.

Assist the Working Group Director in the following:

Work with members of the Federal Government, IT Industry, and Academia to drive technology initiatives designed to shape the government's IT modernization roadmap.

Manage ongoing engagement and communication.

Starting up new Working Groups

Manage Working Group portfolio deliverables such as webinars, podcasts, White Papers, and events.

Complete assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience.

Can manage complex, fast-changing program elements and prioritize effectively in response.

Relationship builder coupled with strong persuasive writing and communication skills.

Creative and strategic thinking with an emphasis on customer service to meet objectives.

Flexibility and ability to push through indecision and ambiguity to deliver results.

Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Suite.

Proficiency with ZoomGov, Box, Hubspot, Virtuoso, and Canva is a plus.

Meticulous attention to detail and superior organizational skills.

Ability to travel for work-related events several times a year.
