Architectural Intern

Bentley Group Inc. is searching for an Architectural Intern with 4+ years of experience to join our innovative design team. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in all facets of architectural practice, from conceptual design to construction documentation in our Architectural department located in Longwood, FL. Employees enjoy a smaller and more personalized company atmosphere where they work with both Architects and Engineers on a daily basis.

Candidates should have experience preferably in the design and development of contract documents for commercial projects within both the public and private sectors. Experience with renovation and alteration projects would be a plus. An Architectural License is not required. Successful candidates will have the ability to work with corporate clients, be capable of managing the production of multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrate attention to detail, be a team player, and have the ability to develop plans. * Please submit a portfolio or project list with a resume.

Duties:

  • Assist in creating detailed construction drawings, construction detail documentation, and building information modeling (BIM) using Revit.
  • Develop 3D models and renderings for architectural presentations utilizing tools like Revit, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Conduct building code analysis and ensure compliance with construction accessibility regulations and other regulatory standards
  • Contribute to Architecture and interior design concepts and detailing.
  • Assist in construction document preparation, construction management, and coordination with contractors to facilitate smooth project execution

Requirements:

  • Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch. or M.Arch.) Required
  • Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with 3D modeling for architectural design and renderings; familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of construction details documentation, construction drawings, and construction regulatory compliance processes
  • Understanding of building code analysis, accessibility standards, and sustainable design principles
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
  • Candidate must have US work Authorization
