onsemi, based in Hopewell Junction, East Fishkill, New York, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated electrical Test Probe Engineer, responsible for developing, optimizing, and supporting wafer-level electrical test and probe operations to ensure high-quality data collection for yield analysis, product characterization, and production test. This role works closely with product engineering, device characterization, process integration, and manufacturing teams to ensure robust test hardware, accurate probing performance, and high-throughput wafer test execution.

Qualifications:

  • BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering/ Computer Engineering or Solid-State Physics or a similar degree
  • Familiar with the fundamentals of semiconductor device physics.
  • Familiar with C++ and data analysis software.
  • Experience or knowledge in the GR&R process.
  • Demonstrated ability in problem-solving

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Semiconductor Parametric & Functional Test and Characterization
  • Experience in manufacturing metrics and problem-solving in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, energetic, motivated, and self-driven
  • Demonstrate ability to work well within a global matrixed team or environment with minimal supervision
  • Outstanding communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization and experience in working with external constituencies
  • Strong organizational skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments
  • Familiar with 6-sigma, DOE, FMEA
  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

    Salary:onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is$65,800 to $102,100 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses.The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of the internal equity of our current team members.
