Pay Rate: $20.25 

Position Overview
The Tube Cap Applier is responsible for manually assembling and packing tubes and working as a member of the production team to maintain the facility safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
•    Responsible for scrap, efficiency, and product quality
•    Responsible for manually assembling tubes to be capped and assuring the caps are properly applied to the tube
•    Responsible to ensure that box counts are accurate, tape the box shut, apply correct product label,  and place completed product on the pallet
•    Notify film/tube dept. material handlers when the finished product or unused materials are ready to be moved to the warehouse drop area
•    Ensure that quality standards are upheld and that any suspect or defective product is reported to the Shift Leader to be appropriately destroyed or placed on hold for the Quality Facilitator’s review and decision
•    Complete all documentation accurately
•    Train new Probe Assemblers in the proper evaluation and packing of tubes.

Qualifications

Education:  High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Pallet jack/tow motor experience preferred.
Specific Skills: Time management, attention to detail.
Equipment & Machinery: Pallet jack/tow motor certification, RF scanners.
Computer Experience & Software:  Basic computer skills, Oracle/WMS knowledge preferred.
